Giveon | Give Or Take | Cassette

Giveon is an American singer whose deep baritone gives contemporary R&B a distinctive vocal centre. His songs use measured phrasing and carefully shaped melodies to explore love, distance and personal uncertainty, allowing restraint and emotional detail to carry as much weight as the production around him.

Give or Take is Giveon's debut studio album, developing the relationship narratives heard in his earlier releases. For Tonight and Lie Again sit within a programme of intimate R&B performances, with his deep baritone and measured delivery connecting the songs' changing emotional perspectives.
