Bournemouth Sinfonietta | William Boyce: The Eight Symphonies | CD

The Bournemouth Sinfonietta was an English chamber orchestra whose recordings covered a broad range of concert music. Its performances bring a smaller orchestral ensemble into detailed dialogue, developing pieces through melodic phrasing, rhythmic movement and the balance between instrumental sections.

William Boyce: The Eight Symphonies presents the Bournemouth Sinfonietta's performances on CD. The programme brings the composer's orchestral pieces together in one recording, with melodic lines, rhythmic contrasts and the balance between instrumental sections shaping the interpretations.
