Dave Brubeck | Brandenburg Gate: Revisited | CD

Dave Brubeck was an American jazz pianist and composer whose recordings combine melodic improvisation with an interest in unusual rhythms and musical structures. His work with small ensembles gives the exchange between piano, horns and rhythm-section players a central role, developing pieces through detailed musical conversation.

Brandenburg Gate: Revisited presents Dave Brubeck in this CD edition. The programme includes Brandenburg Gate (Instrumental), Summer Song (Instrumental), In Your Own Sweet Way (Instrumental), bringing the individual performances together within the release’s recorded sequence.
