Deep Purple | Deep Purple-Whoosh!(Jewelcase) | CD

Deep Purple are a British rock band whose work helped shape hard rock. The interplay of electric guitar, keyboards and a powerful rhythm section runs through their catalogue, which spans early psychedelic recordings, classic heavy rock and later studio and live releases.

Whoosh! reunites Deep Purple with producer Bob Ezrin for recording sessions in Nashville. Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse and Don Airey develop new hard-rock songs, extending the band's established sound through varied arrangements and instrumental detail.
