Gilley, Mickey | Live In Branson | DVD

Mickey Gilley was an American country singer and pianist whose recordings combined honky tonk roots with accessible popular song. His warm voice and keyboard playing gave ballads and more rhythmic material a consistent musical character, connecting the intimacy of the lyric with the atmosphere of a live performance.

Live in Branson captures Mickey Gilley performing at his theatre in Missouri in 2004. The concert gives his singing and piano playing a live setting, connecting country repertoire with the presence of an audience. The DVD documents the stage performance rather than a separate studio album.
