Bell Orchestre | Recording a Tape the Colour of the Light | CD

Bell Orchestre are a Canadian instrumental ensemble whose music connects chamber instrumentation with experimental rock textures. Their recordings develop contrasting passages through rhythmic interplay and changing instrumental colour, often using ensemble movement in place of a conventional vocal lead.

The Colour of Light presents Bell Orchestra in this CD release. The programme includes Les Lumieres Pt. 1, Les Lumieres Pt. 2, Throw It on a Fire, bringing contrasting performances and arrangements together in a collected listening sequence.
