Jon Boden | Afterglow | 2CD

Jon Boden is an English singer and multi-instrumentalist whose work draws on folk music and narrative songwriting. His recordings combine traditional musical influences with distinctive arrangements, using the voice and changing instrumental colours to support the stories within the songs.

Afterglow is Jon Boden’s concept album about two lovers trying to find one another during a carnival in a decaying city. This deluxe two-CD edition combines the studio album with the complete programme performed in campfire sessions, preserving the two different recording settings.
