Softsun | Eternal Sunrise | LP

Softsun brings together Pia Isaksen, a vocalist and bass player who grew up in Norway, and guitarist Gary Arce, with drummer Dan Joeright, who are based in the Southern California Mojave desert. Its sound pairs heavy, melodic bass-driven compositions with Arce's guitar work and Isaksen's ethereal vocals, and the profile names Cocteau Twins, True Widow, Yawning Man and Diiv as reference points. For their second album, released in November 2025, the band was joined by drummer Robert Garson.

Eternal Sunrise is a single disc vinyl LP released by Heavy Psych Sounds on 5 December 2025, limited to 100 copies. Pia Isaksen and Gary Arce are credited with writing the material, with Isaksen also on bass and vocals and Arce on guitar. Gar Robertson played drums and is credited as producer.
