Sparks | Balls | 2LP

Sparks is the name of the band of brothers Ron and Russell Mael, who are from Los Angeles, USA. They have been making music since 1969 under various incarnations of the Sparks name. In 1979 they began working with Italian producer Giorgio Moroder, which marked the start of their involvement with electronic music.

Balls is a 2-disc vinyl LP album by Sparks, released by BMG on 29 April 2022. It is the 18th studio album by the band, originally released in August 2000, and this edition has been newly remastered and issued on heavyweight vinyl. The album continues the techno-pop sound of the band's 1994 album Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins, with Ron and Russell Mael credited as writers, producers and arrangers.
