Star One | Space Metal (2022 Reissue) | 2CD

Star One is the progressive metal project of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Arjen Anthony Lucassen. It brings several singers into a shared musical setting, combining heavy guitars, keyboards and extended arrangements with songs inspired by science-fiction films and television stories.

Originally released in 2002, Space Metal is Star One's debut album. Its songs use separate science-fiction narratives rather than a single continuous story, with contrasting vocalists and substantial instrumental parts shaping each interpretation within the project's progressive metal sound.
