The Artist (Formerly Known As Prince) was an informal name for the unpronounceable symbol Prince used as his stage moniker from June 1993 to May 2000, during a dispute with Warner Bros. Records. Prince produced seven albums under the symbol, mostly through his NPG Records imprint, before returning to the Prince name in November 2001.

Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic is a remix album by The Artist (Formerly Known As Prince), released on two LPs by NPG Records in 2019. It is the remix companion to the 1999 album Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic, and this limited edition reissue is pressed on purple vinyl. Prince is credited as composer, performer and producer.
