The Go-Go's | God Bless The Go-Gos | CD

The Go-Go's are an American band whose music combines punk and new-wave origins with melodic pop songwriting. Their guitar-based ensemble sound and vocal harmonies helped establish a distinctive approach to concise, energetic songs during their early 1980s career.

Released in 2001, God Bless the Go-Go's reunited the band's classic line-up for a new studio album. The record returns to their guitar-pop foundations while including outside songwriting collaborations, connecting their earlier sound with a later period of group writing and performance.
