The Raveonettes are a Danish rock 'n' roll duo consisting of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, who met in Copenhagen. Their music pairs close two-part vocal harmonies with hard-edged electric guitar and noise, drawing on the simple chord structures of 1950s and 1960s rock. Their album Whip It On was elected Best Rock Album of the Year at the Danish Music Awards 2003.
