Replacements, The | TIM | CD

The Replacements are an American rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their early music was influenced by American hardcore, as with contemporaries such as Hüsker Dü, and their later albums slowed the tempo. The band broke up in 1991 after internal tensions, and on 3 October 2012 it was announced that The Replacements were active again.

This is a two-disc CD set from Sire, released on 11 April 2025, that repackages the first two discs of a 2023 release of Tim. Disc one contains the Ed Stasium mix and disc two the original 1985 mix in its 2023 remaster. Tom Erdelyi is credited as producer of the original album, Ed Stasium as mixer, and Paul Westerberg as songwriter.
