Usurper | Skeletal Season | CD

Usurper is a Chicago-based blackened thrash metal band formed in 1992. It began as a side project of Rick, Dave and Joe while they were in The Dead Youth, and became their main focus, which led to The Dead Youth disbanding. Usurper split up in 2007, and guitarist and songwriter Rick Scythe revived the band in 2015 with Joe Apocalyptic Warlord and Danny "Tyrantor" Lawson.

Usurper II: Skeletal Season is a one CD album reissue released by Dissonance Productions in November 2018. The album was recorded at Eaton Records in July and August 1998. Rick Scythe and General Diabolical Slaughter are credited as producers, and General Diabolical Slaughter also provides the vocals.
